Massagesessel Welt stock of the economic situation and, bucking the trend, is investing in additional, spacious warehouse space. “It’s clear that we’ll have to weather further supply bottlenecks—even though the COVID-related container backlog hasn’t been fully resolved yet,” explains Michael Roedeske, owner of Massagesessel Welt. The congestion on the main shipping routes isn’t his only concern: “Since trains are no longer running in Ukraine, the direct connection from China to Germany has been cut off. There’s a shortage of Ukrainian truck drivers, and shipping capacity is also exhausted. It’s highly unlikely that the situation will ease by the end of the year,” says the entrepreneur. The additional warehouse space is intended to ensure short delivery times in the future as well.

More Than Massagesessel Welt Wellness
With their massage chairs, Michael Roedeske and Manuela Radu, the founders of Massagesessel Welt , want to offer Massagesessel Welt wellness. The products, which are now stored in an additional 200 m² of warehouse space in Fellbach-Oeffingen, are far more than mere luxury goods: “I first became familiar with massage chairs in a health-related context, and I still view them that way. Our products are used in companies as part of workplace health management programs or in senior living facilities. They provide a moment of relaxation for both mind and body—that’s an important aspect that must not be neglected, especially in today’s world,” explains the expert.  The additional 300 massage chairs that can be stored in the new facility ensure Massagesessel Welt ability to fulfill orders. The warehouse is planned as a new central distribution center and expands the existing facilities in Remshalden. In the future, those facilities will serve solely as distribution and pickup centers.

In July 2021 Massagesessel Welt a showroom in Weinstadt featuring Europe’s largest massage chair exhibition. Over 30 models are on display there, suitable for both private and commercial use. And since fall 2021, customers in Leverkusen have also been able to test products from renowned manufacturers at their leisure and receive free, expert advice tailored to their needs.
