Why, for what reason, and actually—why massage chairs?
We’re on a mission to make massage chairs better known, more valuable, and more clearly understood in terms of their purpose. Here, we’ll explain what a vacation in France has to do with this and how we plan to achieve our goals as a team by bringing you on board.
About Us
"We"—that no longer refers just to Manuela Radu and Michael Roedeske, the founders and operators of Massagesessel Welt , both online and in brick-and-mortar stores. Our Massagesessel Welt team has grown steadily and consistently since its inception in 2020.
While the development of the brand portfolio, the selection of armchairs, communication with our customers—that is, you—and daily consultations are handled by Manuela and Michael, there are many more people who make Massagesessel Welt what it is.

Expertise and Experience
When selecting our models, we rely exclusively on our own expertise. We personally test and inspect the sample chairs we receive from manufacturers, or we visit the manufacturers on-site. Our experience and expertise are the cornerstones that enable us to provide you with the best possible advice and support regarding the strengths and unique features of each individual massage chair.
High Quality Standards for Your Satisfaction
Before we jointly decide to include a model in Europe’s largest showroom and in our product line, every armchair must meet our standards. If a model doesn’t measure up in terms of quality or features, it doesn’t stand a chance—regardless of who the manufacturer is or how low the retail price may be. This is the only way we can offer our retail customers a 5-year warranty with a clear conscience.

An idea in the summer of 2020
Even while on vacation with friends, the Massagesessel Welt was becoming more and more real—and Massagesessel Welt just in our minds. After many conversations, discussions, and considerations, the decision was made more quickly than we had expected.

The launch in September 2020
Massagesessel Welt Weinstadt, near Stuttgart, has been officially in business since September 2020. But even before that date—which has since become so important to us—we had already invested an enormous amount of time in preparing our business.

Exhibition Opening (2020/2021)
The final step ultimately took place just outside Stuttgart with the opening of our first exhibition in Remshalden in 2020. This was quickly followed by an expansion and a move to Weinstadt in 2021, where, within just one year, it rapidly grew into the largest exhibition in Europe.

Leverkusen Location
Our second Massagesessel Welt Leverkusen is opening with the active support of our on-site manager: Marco Libi is joining our team.

New Website
With a completely revamped website, Massagesessel Welt will go live Massagesessel Welt July 5, 2022. It features a greatly expanded range of information on Europe’s most diverse selection of massage chairs, presented in an appealing, well-structured design.

Today: 7 exhibitions
As of 2026, Massagesessel Welt has seven showrooms in Germany—Remshalden, Leverkusen, Hainichen, Heede, Mannheim, Bad Säckingen, and Dreieich—and serves customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Visit us in person at our showrooms, where you’ll find expert advice, as well as our chair display areas. Here you’ll find all our locations and their current chair selections, as well as the option to schedule a personal consultation directly.
Delivery and Service
Ionel Radu is a trained mechatronics engineer and our manager of shipping and logistics. He is also the first point of contact in the rare event that there are any problems or defects with the massage chairs. He takes care of them in no time at all.
Ultimately, of course, it’s always a collaborative effort among all of us, our suppliers, and our partners—working together as a close-knit team.
