Bodyfriend

Bodyfriend was founded in Seoul in 2007. Products are developed in Korea and manufactured in China. In just a few years, the brand has surpassed Japanese competitors in its home country and now holds over 60 percent of the market there. This success has been driven by a rental model: Customers pay a monthly fee and take ownership of the chair at the end of the term.

You can tell where they're from by their design. Korean armchairs have a sleeker silhouette than Japanese ones and don't dominate the room as much.

Which one is right for you?

No product spec sheet can tell you whether an armchair is right for you. It depends on where the casters end up relative to your height, and your body will sense that within the first few minutes. We have the models set up in our showroom: come try them out and test them for yourself.
