Things to Know About Casada

14 models

Casada was founded in 2000 by Jakob Radtke and is based in Paderborn. Products are developed in Germany and manufactured in China. In addition to massage chairs, the product line includes over 100 items, ranging from massage pads to vibration plates; partners sell the brand in more than 37 countries. In 2021, 8,500 respondents voted Casada among the top brands in a survey conducted by TESTBILD and Statista.

The Current Models

The Skyliner III is the top-of-the-line model. The rollers run on a flexible L-shaped track— Casada s call it the SL-Flex track: It starts at the neck, ends below the buttocks, and conforms to the curve of the back rather than running rigidly along it. Two mechanisms operate independently of one another. Before the massage begins, a scan detects the spine and determines the location of each segment. Heat is provided by jade plates. A pulse oximeter measures heart rate, oxygen saturation, and fatigue level; in addition, sound frequencies tailored via braintronics can be activated.

The Titan features two massage robots on flexible rails, allowing it to massage the back and legs simultaneously. It can also be operated by voice command, and heat in the leg area is delivered via graphene. The EcoSonic is the entry-level model: 3D technology, carbon heating, and twelve air cushions.

The chairs are upholstered in synthetic leather, usually white, brown, or black. The control panel is located in the armrest. The footrest extends lengthwise so that, regardless of body height, the calves rest where the air cushions are active.

We explain what 2D, 3D, and 4D really mean when it comes to reels—complete with a video—in our guide: The Difference Between 2D, 3D, and 4D.

How the Models Differ

The practical difference lies less in the number of programs than in the track. An L-shaped track guides the rollers beyond the buttocks, while a straight track ends at the lumbar region. Anyone who experiences discomfort in that area will notice the difference immediately. If the track is also flexible, it follows the curve of your back instead of forcing your back to conform to its own shape.

Which " Casada " is right for you?

You can't tell just by looking at the spec sheet. Whether the rollers align with your shoulders or miss them by a bit depends on your height and where your pelvis sits in the chair. Your body will sense this within the first few minutes. That's why the chairs are set up here, and you can sit in them one after another: Try them out and see how they feel.
