Air cushions are located in the leg and seat areas of the massage chair. Thanks to their tremendous flexibility, they adapt individually to the contours of the body. A compressor—hidden from view inside the massage chair—pumps air into the air chambers, which in turn apply pressure to the calves. This creates a treatment similar to lymphatic drainage. In the seat area, inflating the individual air chambers creates gentle and relaxing wave-like movements. The intensity of the air pressure can also be adjusted manually on most devices.
